The Deepest Part of Shadow
Published in The Good Fight 5: The Golden Age
Mamie Aarons is a flapper with an appetite for trouble. But she also has a secret--and it's made her the target of strange supernatural creatures that disappear into the shadows.
Then she meets a fresh-off-the-boat Irishman with a knack for showing up just when she needs him. He seems to know something about the creatures that stalk her, and before long, she begins to suspect that he's got some secrets, too.
This anthology is all about the early days of superherodom. It's the fifth in a series featuring the work of authors from the Pen and Cape Society.
A Murder--Magpies in Mourning
Published in Siren's Call eZine
This dark flash fiction piece places you in the middle of a girl's living nightmare, as she takes an innocent life and faces terrifying consequences.
I'm proud to make my second appearance in the Women in Horror Month issue alongside some incredible authors.
Impulses
Published in The Good Fight 4: Homefront
Ten-year-old Misteya Michaels doesn't want to bully a classmate with super powers, but to her shame, she goes along with her friends. When strange things start to happen around her and she suspects she may have powers of her own, she has to decide whether to reveal them or keep them hidden.

This anthology is all about the home lives of superheroes. It's the fourth in a series featuring the work of authors from the Pen and Cape Society.
Dax and the Red Eyes
Published in Caped: An Anthology of Superhero Tales
Dax is a developmentally delayed little boy struggling to deal with super powers--both his and those of his older brother, who likes to cause problems for Dax to fix and take the credit for himself. It all takes a frightening toll on Dax, who can't communicate his pain and fears to anyone.

Caped is a fun anthology for people who like superheros or just good storytelling.
The Visit
Published in the anthology Dangers Untold
A young couple stumbles across a shack in the woods that paints a disturbing picture--and unwittingly takes a part of it home with them. Come along on what one review called "a personal trip to hell."

Dangers Untold is an anthology of unusual monsters and unexpected terror, all from authors of The Horror Society.

The Visit is (loosely) based on a true story.
Starlet's Web
Published in Siren's Call eZine
This is a twist on the good-old-fashioned ghost story--it's told from the point of view of a ghost.

The story is set in a theatre because who's ever heard of a decent theatre that isn't haunted? Certainly not anyone who's spent much time backstage!

Like The Visit, Starlet's Web is loosely based on a true story. (Yes, I've been in some creepy situations! Why not make the best of it?)
